Braised Beef

Material: beef tendon.

Spices: green onion, star anise, bay leaf, grass fruit, cinnamon, dried red pepper, pepper.

Wash the beef and soak in clean water for 1 hour, changing the water once in between.

Pour a sufficient amount of water into the pot, add the beef, and continue to cook for about 5 minutes after it is boiled, until all the blood is precipitated.

Pick up the beef and rinse off the surface foam with clean water.

Put all the spices, green onions, ginger, soy sauce, sugar, and beef into an electric pressure cooker, and pour in water, the amount of water should not exceed the beef; adjust to the stew level, 20 minutes.

Remove the cooked beef.

Filter the brine and refrigerate it. Next time, it can be used to marinate other foods.
