Braised Duck with Lotus Root

Duck, lotus root, cut well. Ginger and garlic are slapped flat. Two scallions are white.

Stir-fry the duck meat over a small fire and dry it. Add ginger, garlic, and green onion together.

The duck meat will not be too fishy if it is fried out of its moisture. Then put in a bowl of water and simmer.

Add star anise and cinnamon. Release light soy sauce, moderate amount of soy sauce. Salt to taste. Simmer on medium heat for 15 minutes. Then add the lotus root and stir fry to collect the juice.

Then put it in the steamer and steam for 45 minutes. The steaming time depends on personal taste. If you like to eat chewy, the steaming time should be shorter.
Tips:
The lotus root powder is better.
