Braised Pork Tongue

A pig tongue is cleaned with hot water to remove the excess white mouth muscles and so on.

Put clean water in the pot, add a little cooking wine and a few slices of ginger, put the pork tongue into a high fire and boil.

After boiling, simmer for 2 to 3 minutes.

Take out the pork tongue and rinse it with running water.

Use a knife or nail to scrape off the white coating of the pig's tongue.

Prepare the marinade, clean the bay leaf and star anise, and slice the ginger.

Pour water into the pot, add a spoonful of light soy sauce, half a spoonful of dark soy sauce, a spoonful of oyster sauce, a chili pepper, bay leaves, rock sugar, star anise and ginger slices, drop a few drops of cooking wine, shake the pot, let the marinade mix.

Put the whole pork tongue in the pot and bring it to a boil. Just turn on a low heat and cook for more than 30 minutes! You can let the tongue soak for another hour before taking it out.

Take out the cooked pork tongue.

Cut it into thin slices!

Add a little sauce and put it on a plate!
Tips:
It takes heart to remove tongue coating. I think nails are better than knives.
