Braised Winter Melon

Prepare half of a small winter melon, peel and go naan and cut into 2-3cm pieces horizontally and vertically, and then cut a cross knife shape on the back of the winter melon piece, being careful not to cut it.

Chop garlic and cut green onions.

Pour oil in the pan, fry the winter melon meat until golden brown (fry the back first), remove it and set it on a plate.

Put oil in the pot again, stir-fry the garlic, the green onion will be fragrant.

Pour in the fried winter melon, add water over the winter melon, add salt, white sugar and sea sky soy sauce (if the color is not dark enough, add some dark soy sauce), cover, and let it sit on medium heat for 10 minutes.

Collect the juice over high heat, thicken (starch with water) to thicken the soup, and take it out of the pot.
