Bread Maker Version Pumpkin Custard Cream Toast

Peel the pumpkin and put it in a fresh-keeping bag, heat it in the microwave for three minutes, let it cool, and roll it into a puree with a rolling pin.

Put the main dough material and pumpkin puree into the bucket of the bread machine, select the standard bread mode, and choose a darker burn color. Press the start key

Using the kneading time, let’s make the custard cream, (if you think the time is tight, you can make the custard cream in advance) firstly prepare the raw materials

Beat the egg yolks, add 1/2 of the fine sugar, and stir until the color becomes lighter and the volume becomes larger

Add in sifted low-gluten flour and mix well

Put the remaining caster sugar into the milk and cook until it boils slightly

Pour the mixture of granulated sugar and milk little by little into the flour mixture in step 5, stirring while pouring, until all is poured and mixed evenly

Sift the mixture from step 7 and pour it into the pot

Heat up the heat and stir while heating until the mixture becomes smooth, then turn off the heat and add butter

Pour into a shallow dish, seal it with plastic wrap, and put ice cubes under it to cool down quickly

The mixing is complete, and the basic fermentation is carried out

After fermentation and exhausting, take out the dough. Divide the dough into 16 equal parts. One part of the dough is slightly larger, leaving it as the top pumpkin shape.

Tips:
1. I use the one-button standard bread mode of Dongling Hot Tornado Bread Machine. You need to press the pause button during the shaping process. Each time you press it, it will pause for 10 minutes. If there is enough time, you can press again to pause;
2. Due to the different water content of pumpkin, the amount of milk added can be adjusted automatically.
