Dumplings are a staple food that we northerners love to eat. They are indispensable for Chinese New Year and festivals.
My favorite is the beef and cabbage dumplings. I learned how to adjust the fillings with my mother-in-law. They are fresh and tender without any water. They are very delicious. Come and try!

Cabbage Beef Dumplings

1. Add flour to warm water, knead into a smooth dough, cover and let stand for 30 minutes.

2. Chinese cabbage is chopped and squeezed. The water is not added to the appropriate amount of cooking oil and mixed well to prevent water from leaking out.

3. Add salt, pepper, light soy sauce, dark soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cooking wine to the beef filling and stir vigorously in one direction.

4. Add chopped green onion. Stir the minced ginger well.

5. The filling is adjusted.

6. Take out the dough and make dumpling wrappers.

7. Make dumplings.

8. After cooking, remove the dry water and serve.

9. Let's eat!
