Candied Bayberry
1.
Pick out the fresh bayberry
2.
Soak in light salt water for 5 to 10 minutes to wash
3.
The clean bottle is soaked in boiling water and drained
4.
Sprinkle the washed bayberry with some sugar and marinate for 30 minutes
5.
Add water to the pot to fill the bayberry
6.
Add an appropriate amount of rock sugar, boil on high heat and turn to low heat for about 20 minutes
7.
When the bayberry is soft, you can turn off the fire
8.
Put it in the bottle while it is hot, put some honey on the mouth to seal it at about 40 degrees, and put it in the refrigerator to keep it cool
Tips:
1. It is better to fill up the bottle when filling, so that it is not easy to deteriorate;
2. I like to drink bayberry soup, so I put a lot of water in it. It’s better to soak the bayberry overnight before eating it. The bayberry is still a bit sour just after cooking. After opening the lid, try to finish it as soon as possible.
