Candied Date Wotou

Main ingredients; cornmeal, soybean noodles, noodle pink dates, yeast powder

Mix corn flour, soybean flour, and flour evenly, add yeast powder and knead into a dough, cover with plastic wrap for proofing.

Soak red dates in warm water to soften

Soak soft red dates, remove the pits and cut into small pieces

Proven corn dough (because there are more cornmeal, the rise is not very large, but the dough is obviously loose)

Put the cut red dates into the proofed corn dough

Knead after adding red dates

After waking up, take a small piece of dough (of any size) and knead it into a socket-like shape. Use your fingers to press a small hole at the bottom.

Put the prepared wotou into the steamer, leaving some gaps between each other
10.
After steaming the steamer, steam for 15 minutes.
Tips:
It is not necessary to put red dates, some honey beans, raisins, etc. in the wotou, or nothing.
Millet noodles, mung bean noodles, buckwheat noodles and other miscellaneous grain noodles can also be added to the ingredients. The steaming time can be extended or shortened with the size of the wort.
