Candied Date Zongzi

Soak glutinous rice, zongzi leaves, and red dates (dry) in advance, soak overnight.

Brush the zongzi leaves with a clean brush and boil for 5-10 minutes.

Take two zongzi leaves.

The cross is crisscross, and the cone is rolled up from the middle.

Fill it with glutinous rice and put two red dates (or candied dates).

Fill in glutinous rice and cover.

Pinch the zongzi leaves on both sides.

Pull down the upper leaf to cover the top.

Fold (twist) the leaves on both sides toward the center.

Turn the whole tower over and twist the zongzi diagonally with string.

Put it in a pressure cooker (electric pressure cooker), add eight-quarter full water, and cook for 1.5-3 hours. Finally, remove it from the pan.
Tips:
The thread for making zongzi can be replaced by calla lilies, and it needs to be soaked overnight.
