Candied Orange Peel

Wash the oranges, cut off the skins on both ends of the head and tail smoothly, and lightly cut 4 knives along the arc of the orange to easily peel off the orange peels.

Remove the white part.

Boil the orange zest in boiling water for 10 minutes and turn off the heat.

Take out and cool

Scrape off the white flesh as much as possible

Cut the orange zest into fine strips.

Add water, lemon juice, a little salt and sugar into a pot and heat on low heat. Stir constantly until it melts, then pour in the orange peel.

Cook until the soup is thick and the orange peel is translucent.

Cook until the soup is all off the heat. Stir the cooked orange zest so that each shredded orange zest is covered with sugar.

After being taken out into a baking tray to dry, put in an airtight container and store in the refrigerator.
Tips:
1. Wash the orange peel with salt or flour before taking it;
2. The white flesh on the orange peel should be removed, otherwise it will be bitter.
