Candied Orange Peel for Digestion and Phlegm
1.
The skin of this Gannan navel orange I use has a wax-free skin, sweet and sour flesh, and sufficient water. It is a pity to throw away the orange peel, so I can use it.
2.
Rub the surface of the orange peel vigorously with salt and baking soda
3.
Remove the white part from the orange peel until the pits are exposed. You can tilt the blade first and then scrape like this, or you can use a scraper to scrape off the skin directly.
4.
Put a little soda in warm water and soak in orange peel for a few minutes
5.
Cut into filaments
6.
Boil in water for a few minutes until the orange peel is soaked
7.
Drain the water, stir in the sugar, the ratio of sugar to orange peel is about 1:1. After pickling for two days, the water from the orange peel is absorbed again!
8.
The finished product can be used as a casual snack or soaked in water
