【cheddar Cheese Shortbread】

Rub the cheddar cheese into fine filaments with a wiper and set aside

The butter that has softened at room temperature and sugar is beaten until the color becomes lighter and the volume becomes larger

Add egg liquid

Whisk evenly so that the egg liquid is completely blended into the butter

Pour shredded cheddar cheese

Stir evenly

Sift in low-gluten flour

Roughly mix well and knead into a dough with your hands

Put plastic wrap on the chopping board and roll the dough into a rectangle about 8mm thick

Then cut it into triangles

With the aid of a scraper, move the dough into the baking pan

Brush a layer of egg liquid on the surface

Put it into the middle layer of the preheated oven, 175 degrees for about 15 minutes

It can be sealed and stored after being out of the oven and letting cool.
Tips:
1. Cheddar comes in lumpy, flake, beige, and orange, but they can all be used in this shortbread. I use lumpy orange cheddar here;
2. The process of sifting in the low-powder and mixing well will be a little more laborious. After roughly mixing, you need to manually knead it into a dough. It can be operated with gloves or a fresh-keeping bag;
3. The shape can be determined according to your own preferences, it can be cut and shaped like mine, or it can be formed by pressing with a mold;
