Stir-fry a transparent and sweet onion, then use white wine as the soup base, slurp and cook the affordable and delicious clams this season, the aroma after cooking is not to mention how intoxicating. I don’t have much appetite in summer, and I don’t have enough rice to make a sweet clam soup!

Clam Chowder

1. Pour the clams into clean water, then pour in an appropriate amount of salt and let it stand for 4 hours to spit out the mud and sand.

2. Peel and dice the onion.

3. Pour the butter into the pan and melt it.

4. Pour in the diced onion and stir fry until soft.

5. Then pour in the garlic slices and stir fry for a while.

6. Pour the white wine into the pot.

7. Cover the pot and simmer for 5 minutes.

8. Pour in clams and salt.

9. Cover the pot and simmer for 5 minutes.

10. Sprinkle with chopped green onions, and the clam chowder is complete!

Tips:

1. Fresh clams are closed, so be careful when choosing clams.
2. Buy the clams and soak them in salt water for 4 hours, and let them spit out the mud and sand.
3. Fresh clams don't need to be cooked for too long. You can eat the seafood once you have opened the mouth.
