1.
The butter melts at room temperature.
2.
Add white sugar.
3.
Stir well.
4.
Beat an egg in and mix well
5.
Sift in low-gluten flour and pour in shredded coconut.
6.
Stir until there is no dry powder and basically form a dough. You can use your hands directly in this step.
7.
Put it on greased paper.
8.
Wrap it with greased paper, and beat the dough into a square shape (any shape is fine.) Put it in the refrigerator and freeze for an hour
9.
Take out the frozen biscuit noodles and uncover the greased paper
10.
Cut to the same thickness (hand-cutting must not be absolutely the same thickness, about 0.5 cm, almost fine)
11.
Spread greased paper on the baking tray and place the cut biscuits directly on the baking tray.
12.
The upper and lower tubes of the Midea oven are preheated at 160 degrees.
13.
Put the baking tray in the preheated oven and bake at 160 degrees for 8-10 minutes.
14.
Take out the baked coconut biscuits and place them on the drying net to cool.
Tips:
1. The disadvantage of using sugar is that the biscuits are easy to crack, but they are really delicious and beautiful. Newbies can use powdered sugar or fine sugar instead. And I personally don't like things that are too sweet. If they are particularly sweet, you can add a little sugar.
2. The shredded coconut can be replaced with pureed coconut.
This recipe uses a Midea smart electric oven, the model is T7-L382B second generation, the capacity is 38L, the power is 1800W, please adjust the heating time appropriately according to the power and temperature difference of your own oven.
