Around the new year is the nougat season; I won a lot of cranberry prizes just a year ago, and there are still some marshmallows left at home, I also wanted to join in the fun to make cranberry nougat; but when I made it, I realized that there was no full fat at home. The milk powder was gone, and there was too much time to change clothes and go to the supermarket; I suddenly thought that LG’s Hainanese friends sent a lot of instant coconut powder when they came to play not long ago. Only after trying it can I know if it works or not. Facts have proved that it can be substituted, but the coagulation effect is not as good as whole milk powder; there is no way to add 15 grams of butter in the middle, but it does not affect the taste of the finished product. It tastes a little coconut. My family’s feedback is pretty good~~"

Coconut Flour Cranberry Nougat

1. Prepare all ingredients

2. Red skin peanuts fried in advance

3. Push off the skin, pour in cranberries and set aside

4. Heat the butter in a non-stick pan

5. Shake the wok after melting to spread the butter evenly on the bottom of the pan

6. Pour the marshmallows and stir continuously with a spatula until the marshmallows are melted and turn off the heat

7. Pour in instant coconut powder and mix quickly

8. Pour in cranberries and peanuts

9. Use a spatula to quickly stir and fry evenly

10. Move to the gold plate, put on disposable gloves, lightly press and reshape

11. Cut into small pieces when slightly hot

12. I'll wrap it in sugar paper later

13. It's also beautiful as a gift

Tips:

1. All peanuts need to be fried or roasted in advance
2. Cranberry is better cut into small pieces, I forgot to cut it
3. It is best to use a non-stick pan, which makes the operation more convenient
4. It is easier to operate with gold plate during plastic surgery. If there is no object, it is better to be non-sticky.
5. It is better to use whole milk powder for easier operation. The coconut powder I use is not easy to solidify, and a little butter is added to make it solidify together, but the taste is not much different.
