Coix Seed Soup with Red Beans and Lotus Seed --- Spring Health Diet Therapy

Wash the red beans, barley, lotus seeds, and lily and soak in water for 1 hour.

Boil the above ingredients on high fire for 10 minutes, then close the lid and simmer for 1 hour.

Tips:
1) Chixiaodou and red beans are two different legumes with different effects. The former is relatively slender and has a harder taste.
2) Chixiaodou and barley are difficult to boil, so soak them in water for more than 30 minutes in advance.
3) The method of boiling and simmering is more gas-saving, and the time of simmering can be shortened by using a pressure cooker or a boiler-free pot.
