Corn Buns

Add sugar, yeast, baking powder and appropriate amount of warm water to cornmeal and flour to form a dough.

After proofing, knead and roll out, cut into rectangles, and put corn kernels in the middle.

Roll up the corn kernels.

Shape it into a corn cob.

Use a knife to first press out the vertical lines,

Then press out the horizontal stripes, so that the shape of the corn kernels comes out.

Proof for half an hour and steam it in a steamer.

Steamed corn buns.

Choose fresh and tender bamboo shoots and blanch them with boiling water for decoration.
