The quality of life of modern people is getting higher and higher, and miscellaneous grains have become one of the favorite diets.
Corn is a commonly used raw material for us to make dim sum, steamed bread, soup, etc. It is very popular among people. Today, I will introduce how to steam cornmeal steamed bread.

Ingredients

Cornmeal Buns

1. First of all, you must use hot water with the cornmeal, stir with chopsticks and cool to warm.
Hot water is used to sweeten the cornmeal

2. Add wheat flour. The ratio of wheat flour to cornmeal varies according to personal taste. I used 2:1 this time.
The higher the ratio of corn flour, the harder the steamed buns and the drier the taste. If you mind the taste, add less corn flour.

3. Pour in the baking powder soaked in warm water and stir well.
The amount of yeast powder can follow the instructions for use.

4. Evenly mix into dough, cover with plastic wrap and ferment

5. Let it ferment to about 2 times

6. Take out and knead on the chopping board, knead more to make the steamed bun

7. After kneading the dough, knead into a long strip

8. Cut into even small balls

9. Knead into a steamed bun shape, wake up, wait for the steamed bun to rise and then steam it in the pot, or put it directly in the pot to wake up.

10. Fire

11. After steaming, wait 5 minutes before opening the lid, otherwise the steamed buns will collapse easily~ complete

Tips:

The steamed buns are soft and delicious, love it! I steamed big and small, to control myself to eat more
