Crescent Shortbread
1.
Put the butter in a container, stir with a spatula until the color is white, then quickly stir until it is soft and smooth.
2.
Sift in a mixture of low flour, cornstarch, almond flour and powdered sugar. (Almond flour needs to use a larger mesh sieve. After sieving, mix it with other flours evenly. I don’t have a larger sieve and I mix it directly with other flours.)
3.
Use a spatula to cut and mix the powder and butter evenly, and then stir for about 10 times when the dry powder is not visible.
4.
Knead the dough gently with your hands.
5.
Divide equally into small doughs of about 10-11 grams
6.
Knead it into a small ball with your palm. Exhaust the air.
7.
Rub the ball with the middle three fingers into a 5-6 cm stick shape. If the dough becomes soft, sprinkle a little flour to prevent sticking.
8.
Bend the two ends of the rubbed sticks down to form a horseshoe shape, and place them on the baking tray with a certain interval.
9.
Preheat the oven at 170 degrees and bake for 12-15 minutes until the shortbread is slightly browned. Take it out and let it cool. Sift a layer of icing sugar for decoration.
