Crispy Tofu Meatballs
1.
The old tofu has less moisture, and the soft tofu has more moisture. It is a little troublesome to remove the moisture. If it is not too troublesome, you can also use the soft tofu. The purpose of removing the water is to not disperse when fried.
2.
The tofu is mashed and placed on a clean gauze.
3.
Wrap the tofu with gauze, and then squeeze it with your hands to remove the moisture.
4.
After soaking the mushrooms in water, chop them into froth.
5.
Put the tofu without moisture in a bowl, add shiitake mushrooms and ginger powder. If there is no ginger powder, you can chop it with ginger. Add salt, five-spice powder, pepper, salt, flour, and mix well.
6.
After mixing well, prepare to make balls.
7.
One tofu is made into balls, and then rolled on the breadcrumbs, the tofu balls will be covered with breadcrumbs.
8.
Pour vegetable oil into the pot and heat it, pour in the meatballs, and fry them over medium heat. The meatballs are ready to be out when they start to turn yellow!
9.
The fried meatballs can also be sprinkled with bread crumbs.
Tips:
The taste of the old tofu is a bit astringent, the soft tofu is more delicious, and the tofu is mashed as much as possible. If you like to eat a little saltier, the fried meatballs can be eaten with some salt and pepper. But I think it is better to use sauce, because the surface of fried tofu is a bit dry and can be used as a snack.
