Double Date Rice Dumplings

Soak the zongzi leaves and rope for 1 night, then put them in a pot and boil

Wash the zong leaves and rope in clean water, and cut off the two ends of the zong leaves with scissors

Pull the rope into filaments, wash 5 kg of glutinous rice, pour 200 ml of water, cover with a damp cloth, soak for 1-2 hours, stir 1-2 times during the period

After the glutinous rice has completely absorbed the water, pour in 50 grams of salad oil, stir evenly, add red date meat and candied date meat, it can be used to wrap zongzi

The method of making zongzi is as shown in the figure below. The zongzi leaves used here are smaller, and the zongzi wrappers are also smaller, each weighing about 50 grams.

Wrap all the rice dumplings and put them in a pressure cooker. The height of the rice dumplings should not exceed 2/3. Add water to level the height of the rice dumplings. Cover the lid and cook. After airing, cook for 30 minutes (depending on the size of the rice dumplings) and turn off the heat. You can open the lid to eat rice dumplings
