Dried tofu in oil is a traditional snack in Wuxi, Jiangsu. Cut the old tofu into 1 cm thick with a knife, put them in an oil pan and fry them into golden brown, put them in a bowl and cut into small pieces, and top with the seasoning. The taste is crispy. The inside is tender, a bit similar to the fried stinky tofu we often eat.

Dried Tofu in Oil

1. Prepare sweet noodle sauce, each with appropriate amount of chopped green onion and minced garlic

2. Prepare brine tofu

3. Cut the tofu into slices about one centimeter thick

4. Fry in a hot pan until golden on both sides

5. Cut into small pieces with scissors

6. Pour out all the oil in the pot and use the oil pot to add minced garlic until fragrant

7. Add the sweet noodle sauce and a spoonful of boiling water

8. Add a little sugar to taste

9. Add the right amount of chicken essence and turn off the heat

10. Pour the seasoning and sprinkle with chopped green onion and serve

Tips:

1. The tofu is fried until the surface is golden and can be picked up. The taste is crispy on the outside and tender on the inside;
2. The seasoning can be adjusted as you like.
