Easy Eight Treasures Sweet Rice

Soak the glutinous rice in half a small bowl in water for 1 hour.

Steam it with a small amount of water in a rice cooker.

After the rice cooker stalls automatically jump up, simmer for a while.

Mix the white sugar in the steamed glutinous rice.

Take a small bowl and smear salad oil on the wall of the bowl. Arrange the dried blackcurrant and hawthorn rolls as shown in the finished picture and spread them evenly on the bottom of the bowl (forgot to take pictures).

Take a small amount of glutinous rice and spread it on the bottom of the bowl. Spread a layer of red bean paste and a little pork floss on top.

Spread a layer of glutinous rice, put cut-off Cantonese sausage in the middle, and coat with some red bean paste, and sprinkle an appropriate amount of pork floss on the surface.

Take a flat plate, turn the bowl upside down and place it in the flat plate. Fill the pot with water, close the lid, and steam the pot on high heat for 10 minutes.

After it is steamed, remove from the heat and pick up the inverted bowl. The glutinous rice is round in the center of the plate and has the shape of Babao sweet rice.

Pour a little orange marmalade and Bulgarian rosette sauce at the end to use as a border, garnish and sauce. The glutinous and sweet Babao Sweet Rice is complete.
Tips:
1. Because the two kinds of jams for pouring the eight-treasure rice are already very sweet, there is no need to make honey syrup.
2. It can be matched with candied dates, green red silk, wax gourd slices, melon seeds and sweet-scented osmanthus, the taste will be more authentic.
