Eight Treasure Rice

Wash the glutinous rice first

Put it in the rice cooker and soak in some water for 30 minutes

Cook rice in a rice cooker, add oil and sugar while it is hot, mix well, set aside

Prepare the self-fried bean paste filling

Prepare a bowl, put a layer of plastic wrap on it, and cover with nuts

Put on heat-resistant disposable gloves, grab a handful of glutinous rice and press it on the freshly laid nuts and around the bowl

Take the bean paste filling and put it in it

Take an appropriate amount of glutinous rice to cover the red bean paste and press firmly

Finally, put the cooked eight-treasure rice into the steamer, steam for 60 minutes, and it will be fully steamed.
Tips:
You can make a few more bowls of eight-treasure rice, wrap it in plastic wrap and keep it in the refrigerator for about half a month. There is no lard, you can use other tasteless oil instead of sugar. Add it while it is hot. If you like sweetness, you can adjust and add more.
