Since I was a child, I like to eat glutinous rice products. Eight-treasure rice is indispensable for the annual New Year’s Eve dinner. Recently I learned how to eat the eight-treasure rice. Okay, this year’s New Year’s Eve rice is gone!

Eight Treasure Rice

1. Wash 200 grams of glutinous rice, put it in a pot and steam it until cooked. I put it in a pressure cooker and steamed it for 10 minutes.

2. Prepare the dried fruit that you need, soak the lotus seeds in advance, remove the lotus core after the soaking is done, cut the red dates in half, and remove the date cores.

3. Take a little melted butter, spread around the bottom of the bowl and spread the oil for easy demoulding

4. Place the dried fruits in the bowl in circles, and arrange them however you like

5. The steamed glutinous rice is served, and the melted butter is added

6. Add powdered sugar

7. Stir well

8. Take half of the glutinous rice and put it in a bowl with dried fruit, then level it

9. Add red bean paste and place it in the middle

10. Add the remaining glutinous rice to the bowl, level it again, and steam for 10 minutes in the steamer

11. After it's steamed, pour it into the plate and it's ok

Tips:

If you can't finish it, you can put it in the refrigerator for a short time. For a long time, wrap it in plastic wrap and put it in the refrigerator. When you want to eat it, steam it again.
