Eight Treasure Rice

Soak the nuts for a while and wash them a few times before they are clean. What nuts you want to put varies from person to person.

Wash the glutinous rice twice

After the water is boiled, add the washed glutinous rice and cook on high heat for 2 to 3 minutes.

Drain the water and remove the glutinous rice.

Add the right amount of sugar to the glutinous rice. If you want to eat dessert, you can add more and stir.

Add appropriate amount of edible oil and stir.

Brush the bottom of the bowl with cooking oil.

Put in nuts. If you want to eat more nuts, you can use a larger bowl and put more.

Place the stirred glutinous rice on top of the nuts. Flatten with a spoon.

Bring the water to a boil, put the bowl in the pot and cook for an hour.

It is best not to lift the lid this hour.
12.
Take out the steamed eight-treasure rice, pour it into a plate, and be careful to burn your hands.
Tips:
Try to have more fleshy red dates, soak them for a while to make them softer. It would be better to cut open into the bowl. The dried apricots must be washed several times.
