Eight Treasure Rice with Lard

1. All kinds of candied fruits are cut into strips, red dates are cut into round slices, ready to be cooked pine nuts, green raisins and dried cranberries

2. Wash the glutinous rice and drain the water

3. Pour the water in the rice cooker to half of the first section of your index finger and press the cooking button

4. Take it out when the time is up. The cooked glutinous rice should be soft but not rotten.

5. Add lard while it's hot and mix quickly

6. Add sugar and mix well

7. Lift the prepared red bean paste (sweet)

8. Take a bowl and put some lard on the bowl

9. Add all kinds of dried fruits to the bottom of the bowl

10. First add glutinous rice to the bottom of the bowl, slowly empty the glutinous rice into the middle of the bowl

11. Add the red bean paste in the middle and lightly compact

12. Then add glutinous rice to cover the red bean paste and compact

13. Steam in a hot pot on cold water for 20 minutes

14. Immediately buckle upside down in a basin to enjoy

Tips:

1. These quantities can be used to make 5 bowls of eight-treasure rice. If you can't finish it, you can wrap it in plastic wrap and put it in the refrigerator. If it takes longer, it can be stored in the freezer.
