Extra Thick Milk Stick
1.
The raw materials are shown in the picture. Cut the butter into small pieces to soften and set aside.
2.
Mix the softened butter, condensed milk, and milk powder, and mix well with a spatula.
3.
Sift the low-gluten flour into a bowl.
4.
Mix well and knead into dough. (Due to the difference in water absorption and temperature, the flour will have different hardness. According to the actual situation, if the dough is too dry, you can add some condensed milk.)
5.
Roll the dough into a 0.3cm thick sheet with a rolling pin, remove the irregular edges and corners of the dough, and cut into a rectangle with a knife.
6.
Cut the dough into thin strips about 0.2cm wide and place them in a baking tray with absorbent paper, and then put them in a preheated 180 degree oven, middle layer, about 10 minutes until the surface is golden brown.
Tips:
1. The condensed milk itself is already very sweet, so no sugar is added to the formula. Sweet lovers can add fine sugar according to their preferences.
2. Avoid excessive kneading of the dough. Don't knead it again after kneading it into shape. Kneading for too long will reduce the crispness of the biscuit. The leftovers after the first rolling can be rolled into a dough and rolled again, but the taste will be slightly worse than the first time.
