Flower Fondant Cupcakes
1.
Prepare cupcakes, mashed purple sweet potatoes, and a decorating mouth. If there is no decorating mouth, you can cut it with a smaller circle at home.
2.
Use a knife to cut off the top of the cake to make it flat.
3.
Feel the mashed purple potato.
4.
1:1 ratio of fondant paste and dry pez. (I used 15 grams each)
5.
Pick a little pigment with a bamboo stick and knead it evenly. (Don’t add too much pigment, see if the color increases or decreases appropriately)
6.
First make the floret part: flatten the orange dough and roll it into thin slices, make it as thin as possible, and carve out small round pieces with the piping mouth.
7.
5--6 discs are stacked together.
8.
Press a bamboo stick in the middle and roll up from the top disc. (Roll from the direction of the arrow)
9.
Roll it up and use bamboo sticks to help break it.
10.
The made little flowers.
11.
Place it on a paper cup.
12.
Make flower path: Roll out the green dough into thin slices, and use the bamboo stick to help cut the thin strips with a knife.
13.
Rub it a few times.
14.
Pinch it in the middle and place it on the paper cup.
15.
Rub a thin strip into two and place it on the flower path.
16.
Rub the slender strip to make a bow.
17.
Use bamboo sticks to form a bow, which can be linked with honey or dipped in water.
18.
Place it in the middle of the flower path.
19.
The bow can also be slightly flattened.
20.
Cut the wafer in the same way.
21.
Put a few more pieces.
22.
Roll it up in the same way and gently press one end with your finger.
23.
One end is an open flower, and one end is pinched and rolled up.
24.
Place it on the paper cup.
25.
Then use the same method as the flower path to rub small strips to make grass.
26.
Place it under the flowers. Decorate with butterflies and sprinkle with small colored beads. (The butterfly is made of another color, you can also use the remaining corners to add a little color to change the color, and press it out with a butterfly mold)

Tips:
The purple potato mash contains water, so there is no need to stick it with water when putting fondant flowers. When making the fondant, put it in the plastic wrap, use a little and take a little, otherwise it will dry out quickly. If your hands are sticky, use white oil to prevent sticking. If there is no white oil, you can use olive oil or lard instead.
