Fried Bitter Gourd with Fish Cake

Cut fish cakes into small pieces.

Wash the bitter gourd, cut it in half, scrape off the seeds and flesh with a stainless steel teaspoon, and scrape off the white flesh as much as possible to reduce the bitterness.

Cut the bitter gourd into small pieces.

Peel garlic and chop minced, peel and slice ginger.

Bring water to a boil, put a little salt and oil, pour in the bitter gourd, boil it for about 10 minutes, and boil it again. (Don't cover the pot during the whole process to keep it green.)

Heat up a pan and saute the minced garlic.

Add 2 teaspoons of garlic tempeh sauce and stir fry.

Add the bitter gourd and fry for about 3-4 minutes.

Add fish cakes, sugar and salt.
