Frozen tofu is a food we often eat in winter. It is said that eating frozen tofu can also lose weight. There is ready-made big bone soup at home, so I used big bone soup to stew frozen tofu and meatballs. Of course, the meatballs are made by themselves, and eating healthy is the first thing.

Frozen Tofu Boiled Meatballs

1. Soak frozen tofu in cold water for 2 hours in advance to thaw

2. Chop the meat into puree and add chopped green onions. Add salt, five-spice powder, oyster sauce

3. Stir well

4. Put in an egg and a little starch

5. Stir again

6. Cut frozen tofu into pieces about 1.5cm square

7. I use big bone soup and put it directly into the frozen tofu cubes. If you don’t have big bone soup, you can add water in a saucepan

8. After the pot is boiled, use a small spoon to scoop the mixed meat into round balls and put it into the pot (you can also squeeze it to make it rounder by hand)

9. All done, simmer and simmer for 10 minutes

10. Chopped cilantro and green onions

11. When the meatballs are cooked through, add coriander and chopped green onions.

Tips:

I use big bone soup and put it directly into the frozen tofu cubes; if there is no big bone soup, you can add water in a saucepan. The amount of water and soup should be mastered; my big bone soup comes with salt, so no salt is added when it is stewed. If you add water to the pot, remember to add salt.
