Another year is the Dragon Boat Festival, and another year is the fragrance of rice dumplings. As usual, I bought red dates, candied dates, and zongzi leaves, and made zongzi at home. I always feel that what I bought is not as good as the taste of my own bag.

Ingredients

Glutinous Rice Dumplings with Red Dates and Candied Dates

1. Soak the glutinous rice one night in advance

2. The zongzi leaves and rope are also soaked one night in advance

3. Red dates are also soaked the night in advance

4. Candied dates are ready

5. Take a leaf, bend the big end into a bowl, and put a red date

6. Fill up with glutinous rice, gather from both sides

7. Cover from top to bottom

8. Tie up with straw rope

9. Wrap all the rice dumplings and put them in a steamer, add water higher than the height of the rice dumplings, close the lid, boil, and cook for about 1 hour

10. It's all cooked, two full pots, soak in clean water, let it sit for a while and eat more sticky
