Glutinous Rice Lotus Root
1.
Half a catty of glutinous rice (lazy way: soak before going to bed at night, use at noon the next day)
2.
1 lotus root, scraped skin = beautiful + delicious ^^
3.
Pour the soaked glutinous rice into every lotus root hole
4.
Use 4-5 toothpicks to seal the mouth. I was supposed to use lotus root, but I couldn’t find my lotus root, so I had to find a Mr. Dong Guo (half potato) to fill it up^^
5.
3 large rock sugar, 5 tbsp brown sugar, 10 longans
6.
Put 4.5 into the pressure cooker at the same time, add water (without lotus root) and press for 20 minutes, let it cool naturally and remove it (my home is an electric pressure cooker, just choose a nutritious stew at will, simmer it for a while)
7.
I forgot to take the whole picture and sliced it directly... The outer layer of the lotus root has turned red, but the color looks thick without the restaurant~ I don’t know what method they used, I thought about it, maybe I didn’t add enough brown sugar, right...
8.
Lotus root noodles ~ use in the next step
9.
Boil lotus root in syrup in a pot, add 2 spoons of lotus root powder and 2 spoons of sugar, turn on the fire~ and stir well (the standard is that there are no lotus root lumps~! It is recommended to put the lotus root powder in the pot to melt in advance)
10.
Pour it on the well-coded lotus root slices~! OK, let’s eat! !
Tips:
note:
1. I saw comrades filling with piping bags on this site. I don’t have one. I’ll find a harder plastic bag, such as the crispy corner bag that my son eats. Cut one corner and use chopsticks at the lotus root hole. It’s filled~ it’s not very laborious, it’s good
2. You can also put some red dates, longans, etc. as you like. The amount of brown sugar and rock sugar is up to personal preference
3. The brown sugar water can be used to cook porridge, if the glutinous rice soaked before is not used up... absolutely no waste.
