Glutinous Rice Lotus Root
1.
Peel the lotus root, cut into a small piece of glutinous rice, soak for a few hours, soak it in the morning and use it in the afternoon.
2.
Stuff the soaked glutinous rice into the lotus root hole. Be careful not to fill it up. It's okay if you have six or seven years. Then use a toothpick to fix the lotus root cover.
3.
Add water, brown sugar, and red dates to the pot. First boil on high heat for about 20 minutes, then simmer on low heat for three or four hours until the juice is almost harvested.
4.
When the stew is done, take it out, cool it, and cut it into pieces. It's sweet and waxy, it's delicious😋
5.
You can pour other sweet-scented osmanthus rose syrup in the later stage. I didn't add anything else here, because the taste of brown sugar itself is very good.
Tips:
How much sugar you add depends on personal preference
