Grilled Beef Tongue

Put the beef tongue in a pot of cold water, add green onion and ginger and cook for 40 minutes.

Peel off the tongue coating and cut the beef tongue into thick slices.

Put the beef tongue slices in a bowl, put green onion, ginger, star anise, cinnamon and chili, drizzle with soy sauce and cooking wine, and season with salt and sugar. Steam in the pot for 1 and a half hours until soft and rotten.

The beef tongue is buckled on the plate, and the steamed soup is boiled and thickened and poured on top to complete it.
Tips:
1. Beef tongue must be cooked thoroughly so that the tongue coating can be easily peeled off.
2. Steaming takes a long time to make it delicious.
