Hanging Frost Yam Beans
1.
Wash the yam beans and steam them over water for about ten minutes.
2.
Heat the pan, add 50 grams of water and 50 grams of sugar.
3.
Heat on a small fire until the water evaporates, the syrup becomes thick and a layer of bubbles rolls on the surface.
4.
Turn off the heat and add about seven or eight grams of white vinegar. Pour in the yam beans and stir quickly, shaking the pot to cool the syrup.
5.
When the syrup becomes cold, it will become icing and stick to the yam beans.
6.
Finished product.
Tips:
1. Adding white vinegar is for the syrup to crystallize into frosting faster.
2. You can also use this method to make frosted peanuts and other small snacks you like.
3. It tastes better than the frosting method with added starch.
