Hawthorn in Syrup
1.
Wash fresh hawthorn: I soaked it in water for five minutes, and then brushed it one by one with a toothbrush, because I always felt that its skin was thick and dusty. Use the other end of the chopsticks to core.
2.
Put some water in the pot, boil it with rock sugar, and then add the prepared hawthorn.
3.
Cook it on high heat for five minutes and then on low heat for five minutes. The taste is sweet and sour, and children like it, but try not to let children eat hawthorn on an empty stomach!
