Hawthorn Pear Rice Porridge

Ingredients: 1 small bowl of japonica rice, 1 crystal pear, 4 rock sugar, 1 small piece of hawthorn cake or canned hawthorn (add more if you like sour), and honey.

Peel the pears, add a small amount of water to the japonica rice and use a blender to make a rice syrup.

Puree the hawthorn cake and a small amount of water with rock sugar, remove the core of the pears and puree the fruit.

Pour the rice milk into the pot, add appropriate amount of water, and bring to a boil on high heat. Cook on low heat until thick. Stir constantly during the cooking process to prevent it from sticking to the pot.

Add hawthorn puree to the boiled thick and fragrant rice syrup, stir, keep stirring ~ to prevent sticking to the pan.

Cook until the juice is thick, add pear puree over high heat.

Bring to a boil until thick, add appropriate amount of honey and stir well.

Let it cool, put it into a small bowl, sprinkle some hawthorn cakes as a garnish, and serve.
