Hawthorn, Red Dates and Lotus Seed Congee

Soak the lotus seeds in clean water overnight. If time is too late, it is best to soak for more than 30 minutes. Then remove the lotus core.

There is no fresh hawthorn, we can also use dried hawthorn.

Wash the red dates, remove the pits, remove the lotus seeds, and wash the hawthorns for later use.

Wash the japonica rice and put it in the rice cooker together with the lotus seeds, and add an appropriate amount of water. Set the porridge button, cook for about 20 minutes, and cook the rice until it blooms.

Pour the processed red dates and hawthorn slices into the pot.

Continue to complete the remaining porridge cooking process, about another half an hour or so, the hawthorn red dates and lotus seed porridge is cooked.
