Ingredients

Hawthorn Yam

1. Add a little water to the dried hawthorn, and place it in a juicer to make hawthorn water (the dried hawthorn should be placed in a filter so that the core and residue inside will not seep into the juice outside)

2. Put the hawthorn water into the pot, add an appropriate amount of rock sugar and boil until the rock sugar is completely melted

3. Bring the starch to the boil with appropriate amount of cold water, pour it into the hawthorn juice and stir well, bring to a boil, pour out from the pot and set aside

4. Peel the yam, wash and cut into strips

5. Put the yam sticks on a plate, and steam for 10 minutes on the pot (you can steam it anyway)

6. Finally, pour the hawthorn sauce onto the yam sticks
