Prepare the ingredients.

Put salad oil in the wok, add pepper, star anise, cinnamon, and cloves, and fry on low heat to create a fragrance.

Remove the spices, add the diced garlic and green onion and part of the chili rings, and continue to fry on low heat.

Add Pixian bean paste, fry the red oil, add the meat ingredients, and fry over medium heat.

Peel the lotus root, yam, and potatoes and slice them.

Put lotus root yam potatoes into the pot and stir fry.

Add the same amount of cooking wine and soy sauce, stir fry evenly.

Add mushrooms and continue to stir fry.

Add a small amount of water, cover the pot and cook.

Put the casserole on the fire and spread the bottom with cabbage.

Pour the ingredients in the wok together with the soup into the casserole, and put tofu on top.

Simmer for 10 minutes on low heat, sprinkle with diced fish plate pepper and chopped coriander.
Tips:
1. The side dishes of the spicy hot pot are usually root vegetables. My favorite is lotus root and potatoes, as well as lettuce, which is not available here.
2. The meat in the spicy hot pot, I like chicken wings the most, but I didn't buy it this time, so I only used ham sausage and bamboo wheel.
3. If you have a dry pot in your home, it is best to use a dry pot. If I don't have one, I will use a casserole.
4. The water in the pot should be boiled until only about half is left, and the taste is more fragrant.
