Homemade Hawthorn Berries

Wash the hawthorn with water and soak it in light salt water for about 20 minutes. Remove the stalk and core, and remove the small seeds inside. It is best to break it apart and take a look. Maybe some of the pulp has rotted and the rotten ones are no longer usable.

250g rock candy, I used rock candy, which tastes better. You can also use small rock candy. Large pieces of rock candy must be broken with a hammer, otherwise it will not melt easily.

Mix the rock sugar and hawthorn together, put it in the microwave on medium-high heat, 4 minutes, take it out and stir, continue, high heat, 6 minutes. Stir well after taking it out.

Let cool, ready to eat. The taste is sour and sweet, a bit like fruit tannin. Hawthorn appetizer and body fluid are rich in vitamin C, which has anti-cancer and anti-cancer effects. Of course, any food needs proper amount. This is a good snack.
Tips:
1. A large piece of rock candy must be crushed, preferably a little bit, otherwise it is difficult to melt.
2. If you like a little bit, you can put less sugar, if you like a little bit sweeter, you can put more sugar. According to personal taste.
3. The time in the microwave oven is shorter, and the total time is about 4 minutes, it will be preserved fruit. A little longer, it becomes jam. The taste is different, but the taste is similar.
4. Metal bowls cannot be used in the microwave oven. This is ineffective. Ceramic and glass products can be used, of course, provided that these products are marked as suitable for microwave ovens.
