Homemade Lard Oil
1.
Wash pig suet and cut into small pieces so that the oil will be more complete. This time the suet is bought by my younger brother, so it doesn’t look very good, but it can still make a fragrant lard.
2.
Cold pan, add lard, turn on medium heat, stir fry suet
3.
Stir fry until the pork suet is dry, and some oil will come out at this time. Turn to medium and low heat, cover the pot, and let it boil on its own
4.
When you open the lid of the pot for about two minutes, you will find that the oil has begun to come out, and there will be water droplets on the lid. Be extra careful when opening the lid. If water drips into the pot, there is a danger of oil splashing. When you see the oil coming out, you can use a dry spoon to put the oil in the pot into a dry container. Always keep a small amount of oil in the pot not only to prevent the oil from splashing out, but also to make the suet oil more completely.
5.
Spoon out and boil
6.
When the lard is boiled as shown in the picture, the oil residue can be drained out of the pot
7.
The boiled lard can be filtered and sealed before it is cooler.
