Homemade 【strawberry Jam】
1.
Wash the strawberries, wipe dry, and cut them with a knife. The smaller strawberry is cut in half, and the larger strawberry is cut in half.
2.
Add caster sugar to the strawberries.
3.
Mix well with chopsticks to make the sugar evenly adhere to the strawberries. Cover with plastic wrap and put it in the refrigerator for more than 3 hours (24 hours if possible).
4.
After refrigerating, the moisture in the strawberries will seep out, and you can proceed to the next step.
5.
Put all the strawberries together with the oozing water into the pot and stir fry over high heat (you can use an enamel pot or a stainless steel pot, not an iron pot).
6.
Stir continuously until the strawberries are soft, then slowly boil them dry over medium heat.
7.
When it is thick, turn off the heat, add lemon juice, stir well, and the jam will be ready.
8.
Put the jam in a clean container, seal it and store it in the refrigerator.
Tips:
◎The jam bottle needs to be scalded and disinfected in advance with boiling water, and it is free of oil and water. Use a clean and water-free spoon when digging and eating.
◎Stainless steel pot or enamel pot should be used for making jam as far as possible, and iron pot should not be used.
◎Lemon juice can adjust the sweet and sour taste, increase the aroma, and promote the release of pectin, and can also play a role in sterilization
