Glutinous rice and lotus roots are popular all over the country. Many places have this delicacy. The restaurant has a high hit rate for this delicacy. The glutinous and sweet taste is very attractive. It is not difficult to make glutinous rice and lotus root at home, and the ingredients and sweetness can be adjusted according to the taste of the family. I made this glutinous rice lotus root with brown sugar, red dates, and honey. The texture and taste are very good. My family likes it very much.

Ingredients

Honey Glutinous Rice Lotus Root

1. Wash the glutinous rice and soak it in cold water for 4 hours

2. Wash the lotus root and peel it off

3. Cut off about 2 cm from one end of the lotus root

4. Pour glutinous rice into the lotus root hole. Use chopsticks while pouring until it is full

6. Put the glutinous rice and lotus root into the pressure cooker
7.

7. Put red dates

8. Put in brown sugar

9. Add appropriate amount of water. Submerge the lotus root with water, cover the pot and cook for 40 minutes

10. After cooking, pour the water from the glutinous rice and lotus root into the pot to boil, pour the starch into the juice, turn off the heat

11. Add appropriate amount of honey and stir evenly

Tips:

1. The soaking time of glutinous rice can be controlled flexibly. Soak it well.
2. The ingredients are added according to personal preference.
3. Gorgon juice is prepared according to personal taste.
4. It takes more time to cook glutinous rice and lotus root. You can use an electric pressure cooker instead of a rice cooker or a boiling pot.
