Honey Sauce Eight Treasure Rice
1.
After washing the glutinous rice, add water and a few drops of cooking oil, soak it for two hours and then steam it in a rice cooker.
2.
Dice the candied dates with raisins, dried cranberries and honey beans and mix well.
3.
Lightly beat the steamed glutinous rice and stir in the dried fruit and appropriate amount of sugar while it is still hot. (It tastes better if you add some lard, I didn’t add it)
4.
Take a large bowl and spread it with softened butter, then put it in the refrigerator for 10 minutes to solidify the butter
5.
Hawthorn slices are changed into long strips and small flowers.
6.
Placed in a big bowl.
7.
Put the mixed glutinous rice into a bowl about half full, and then spread a layer of red bean paste.
8.
Fill the bowl with glutinous rice and lightly compact it.
9.
Put it in a steamer and steam for 20 minutes.
10.
Flip the glutinous rice into a plate.
11.
Add water and sugar to the pot to thicken, add honey and mix thoroughly.
12.
Just pour it on the eight-treasure rice.
