1.
To make red wine molasses: mix red wine, sugar, honey, cinnamon powder, and cloves in a small pot.
2.
Bring to a simmer and cook, stirring constantly with a spoon to fully blend the ingredients. Cook until the liquid has a certain consistency, and the spoon can leave a trace (depending on the firepower of each company, it may last for 5-10 minutes), and then fill it out and bottle it.
At the same time, preheat the oven 180 degrees for use.
3.
Roasted figs: Divide each fig into four equal portions, spread them on a baking tray, put them into the oven after preheating, and heat up and down at 180 degrees for 2 minutes.
4.
The figs are baked and served on a plate, topped with red wine molasses, and you can cut a few sprigs of vanilla to decorate according to your preference.

Tips:
1. The red wine can be according to personal preference, without special expensive price, just dry red. When cooking red wine molasses, pay attention to a low fire. If the fire is too high, the sugar liquid may stick to the pot wall and become bitter.
2. For the sweet part of red wine molasses, honey enhances its flavor and sugar thickens. It is not recommended to use honey to completely replace sugar, as it may not be boiled into a honey texture. If there is no honey, add sugar accordingly. In addition, red wines may have poor texture, so if they don’t become mucus in 10 minutes, you can add sugar at your discretion.
3. In view of the different tastes of cinnamon, the dosage is only written in the range. If you love it, please use the max amount like me or the amount you like more. If you don’t have cloves, you can omit it, but I personally think that it is a good companion for cinnamon. Just 2 capsules will give you a richer and more layered fragrance.
4. The amount of molasses is good, but it is slightly inconvenient to cook a small amount. If it is not used up once, it will solidify after cooling and can be sealed and stored. When it is used again, it will be restored to a semi-liquid state if it is slightly heated.
5. If used as a side dish of steak, it can be served with fried asparagus.
