Improved Northeast Rice Bun

Prepare shallots, coriander, potatoes, eggs

Lettuce, bean paste

You also need to prepare rice!

First cut the potatoes into thin slices and steam them for 20 minutes. After steaming, mash it to make mashed potatoes!

Stir the eggs into egg liquid!

Cut the shallots into small pieces!

Cut green peppers into small pieces!

Chopped coriander!

Shred the lettuce!

Pour vegetable oil into the hot pot!

Pour the bean paste into the bowl!

Add water and mix well!

After the oil heats up, you can lay the egg liquid!

Then add chopped green peppers for frying!

When it's 7 minutes old, pour in the well-stirred sauce!

Simmer it for a while, it’s good for bubbles like this! The sauce should be thick and not thin!

Then stir together the rice, mashed potatoes, coriander, shallots, shredded lettuce, and the freshly made green pepper and egg sauce, and you're done!

This is my improved Dongbei rice bun. I don’t need to hold it in my hand. It tastes the same. I wish to commemorate my childhood memories with this rice bun!
Tips:
1. Mashed potatoes should be based on the situation, depending on what kind of potatoes you are buying. Some potatoes are very sandy, so the steaming time can be shorter!
2. The green pepper and egg sauce should be boiled for a while, and it will have a thick feeling in the pot.
3. This is the taste in my memory, so I didn't make major changes. If you have other preferences, you can add other ingredients!
