Jiangsu Sugar Porridge Lotus Root

Wash the glutinous rice and soak in cold water for 30 minutes

Dry dried longan, soak in cold water for 30 minutes

Pour the glutinous rice into the inner pot of the rice cooker together with the water used to soak the glutinous rice

Longan, together with the water to soak the longan, pour into the inner pot of the rice cooker

Tips:
The glutinous rice is soaked and then cooked, the porridge will be thicker and taste better.
Dried longan is easier to boil through after soaking.
Longan can be added or not. Red dates can also be added.
The amount of brown sugar is added according to personal taste.
