Lao Yang's Rice Cake

Soak the glutinous rice one day in advance and set aside.

Soak the red beans and peanuts overnight in advance. Put the soaked beans in an electric pressure cooker for 20 minutes.

After the beans are cooked, add brown sugar while hot and press to crush them to melt the brown sugar fully.

In that pot, spread a layer of glutinous rice and sprinkle a layer of raisins and rock sugar on it.

Put another layer of glutinous rice, and cover with a layer of red bean and peanut paste.

Then spread a layer of glutinous rice and put a few red dates on it.

After all is complete, add an appropriate amount of water, and start steaming for one hour on the pot.

After the steamed rice cakes, take a fresh-keeping box, put a layer of plastic wrap inside the box, put on disposable gloves, grease the gloves, dig the rice cakes into the fresh-keeping box, compact them with your hands, and cover them with plastic wrap.

After it has cooled thoroughly, put it in the refrigerator, take it out and cut into pieces when eating, steam it and eat it with sugar, or fry it in a pan.

Sprinkle some sugar on it and heat it in the microwave for three minutes. Come and eat.
